Living in a toxic world, our body take in toxins in almost any way. It is present in the air we breathe in or in the foods we intake and even in the water we drink. We get them from copper pipes or paints, aluminium cans, pesticides and even from our dental fillings and in cigarette smoke. They are also from our cookwares or cleaning products and in the food additives.

Detoxification has been acknowledged as good for health and is practiced in Ayurvedic and Chinese healing techniques. The harmful substances could wreck havoc in our body systems and destroy healthy cells. So, when we think about spring cleaning our homes and surroundings, we must also include in the clean up of our internal bodily systems.

Green tea is also known for its antibacterial, antibacterial properties aside from having anti-allergen qualities.

Many on the other hand subscribe to the nutritional method of detoxification. A lot of common herbs, fruits and vegetables are actually good at detoxifying your system. Lemon, along with other citrus fruits tops the list. They efficiently eliminate the unwanted toxins in your system. Garlic has also been lauded for its many benefits. Green vegetables, some nuts and seeds could also do the trick. Just by including them in your daily diet already aids your body as it eradicates the toxins.
