Ever wake up in the morning with a headache that will not go away; wondering if you slept wrong or what you did wrong to deserve this headache? Every morning you start looking for aspirin or some medicine to take and wonder if you were ever going to get rid of this headache. I feel dehydrated, so I drink lots of water before bedtime, resulting in a full bladder in the middle of the night, so I'm off to the bathroom on many occasions. My doctor told me to drink a lot of water too. I found certain medicines can create headaches. Pain medications are OK when used sparingly, be careful. But did you know that most of them produce a headache and cause an escalation of the headache symptoms when used frequently? Headaches can be amplified by aspirin and other pain medications by taking these medications two - three times a week, just as an example. Taking pain-killers everyday can keep preventative medicines from working to there fullest. When backing off on pain-killer medicine, headache suffers find that their headache are less frequent and will stop in most cases. I never thought that pain-killer drugs can cause my headaches The whole time I was suffering from chronic morning headaches it was from taking pain-killers to stop my headaches. It just never occurred to me to eliminate my headache by stop taking pain-killers. So now I'm in a dilemma; taking medicine causes my headaches to get worse; stop taking the medicine I feel better yet I still have headaches. You know how many different pillows I've tried, because I thought my chronic morning headaches were the result of my sleeping patterns. Trust me when I tell you your pillow has very little to do with your chronic morning headaches, because of all the different pillows I tried. Soft, hard contoured and nope it didn't help. My headaches are still there, frustrating me every morning. I thought that if I slept with a pillow under my legs it would help. I kept struggling for a good position to sleep in that would result in no more headaches in the morning. These headaches just would not go away. Chiropractic care had finally relieved my chronic morning headaches!! My chiropractor made some simple adjustments. After visiting with my chiropractor; he showed me with x-rays; I was getting a pinched nerve in my neck. I found out I have what is known and as a subluxation. I didn't know what causes a subluxation, because my chronic morning headaches didn't seem logical. It didn't make sense, but I decided to have the doctor treat me anyway since I was sick and tired of my morning headaches. After getting adjusted three times a week for about eight weeks I could see a significant amount of relief. I notice my energy level was much better and that I was sleeping very well. I had finally found relief from my chronic morning headaches.
