We will be talking about five common myths or misconceptions about back pain in the near future. The first misconception is, ironically, about that excruciating pain that you may experience down the length of your leg. The pain is so severe that it consumes you and you find yourself in the doctors office. The physician mandates an MRI and a number of other costly tests, but results are inconclusive and nothing helpful shows up from the tests. You are still in pain and growing more frustrated and upset.

We will be examining five common myths or misconceptions about back pain in the near future. The first myth is, ironically, about that terrible pain that you may feel down the length of your leg. The pain is so intense that it consumes you and you find yourself in the doctors office. The physician mandates an MRI and a number of other expensive tests, but results are not conclusive and nothing helpful shows up from the examinations. You continue to be in pain and growing more hopeless and upset.

Not to worry, there is a way to end the pain and misery! What your doctor is not aware of or simply is not showing you can make all the difference for you.

There is a tiny muscle, approximately 5 inches long, located in the hip of the human body. This little muscle is, unfortunately, the root of the overwhelming pain down your leg. The muscle just presses on the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back down the length of your leg. That little bit of pinching is enough to result in a large dose of pain or other signs such as tingling, numbness, or weakness. Generally, rather than finding cause with this little muscle, slipped or herniated discs in the lower back take the blame for the leg pain. Upon further investigation, the spine is not the issue at all; the fault lies with this tiny muscle.

We have both bad news and good news for you. The bad news: no medical procedure, regardless of how extensive, can reveal the real cause of the pain. The good news: the solution is much easier and inexpensive than you may expect! The actual issue you face is smaller than your previous specialists have made them out to be, meaning it is much easier to correct.
