Global warming will effect perschoolers - 2007/08/08 14:33 Its alway the kids that get the most effected and teh rise in temperatures cause an increase in emergency hospital visits for preschoolers.
A study also found that rates of gastroenteritis were lower on days with a high UV factor present.
The main reasons for hospital visits are fever and gastroenteritis.

Re:Global warming will effect perschoolers - 2007/09/30 07:40 Yes, kids of this age are more prone to fevers and suffer faster because of their small size. High temperatures will only increase the effect of fevers and make them more difficult to manage.

This is a shame

Re:Global warming will effect perschoolers - 2008/07/14 00:20 Gastroenteritis? How is that related to the temperature outside?

That is usually due to overeating, influenza, or low level food poisoning.

I am confused.
