Jatropha - 2007/07/02 10:09 Jatropha can be planted on barrain lands and as such it do not require much of fertilizers, water etc. In India we have atleast 50 plants for this but I want to know jatropha's effects on environment.

Jatropha is not native to India, it is a new world plant (originally Mexico) so there is the problem of introducing an alien species.
