What is your favorite pose? - 2007/07/15 07:01 Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana is one of my favorite one. When I can get into it all the way, it's marvelous. But that can only happen when my body is warmed up and open. But even part of the way there with a strap feels great!

Re:What is your favorite pose? - 2007/09/07 02:06 There are a number of positions I enjoy! I agree with you on Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana, it's visually a very beautiful position... but the stretch simply feels great as well. As awkward as it looks, it's very relaxing.

Re:What is your favorite pose? - 2007/09/07 13:12 I have never really though about this until now but I suppose my favourite pose would have to be the Chakra-asana.

"Translation: Chakra, from the root cak ("to move") means wheel and therefore this is the Wheel Posture.
The cakra-asana is also known as the urdhva-dhanurasana. Urdhva means raised, elevated or upright and dhanur means bow. Both "wheel posture" and "raised bow posture" describe the appearance of this asana."

Anyways as you can tell from the description and picture from the source it is a good way to stretch your back muscles which is why I enjoy it so much.
