I do believe that we are healthiest when a considerable portion of our diet is raw, but we do need animal foods (meat should be cooked). We are not herbivores. Our biological makeup is for an omnivorous diet.
If we were herbivores, we would have the teeth of a cow.
We get a lot of nutrients from animal products that are not present in plants. Not just Vit B12.
