The problem is that some oils are abortifacents, and others can cause premature uterine contractions. Others still can affect diabetes which can accompany pregnancy for some women.
Given the risks I chose to avoid almost everything when I was expecting. I used only lavender and tea tree oil, and both only in small quantities as an antibiotic agent in preference to chemical alternatives that I felt would be far less safe.
