Getting rid of Nuclear waste - 2007/10/02 08:54 Nuclear power could be the answer to pollution problems. Its been proven its several times cleaner than conventional power. However, it does produce nuclear waste that takes thousands if not millions of years to decompose. If we could shoot this waste into the sun or into outer space for an affordable price, that could be the end of our energy crisis. Splitting even one atom produces an insane amount of power.

Re:Getting rid of Nuclear waste - 2007/10/27 06:29 It also produces an insane amount of controversy. Everyone wants cheap power, but how many people do you know that would be happy if they had a Nuclear Power plant built next door to their house?
