I can honestly think of nothing else that matches solar in it's potential for limitless, waste free power. It will be there until the sun burns out, and by the time that happens I doubt that humans will be limited to this one planet anyway.
So why aren't we doing more about it? What stops people using solar?

Re:The Purest Power Source - 2007/10/02 16:45Its too expensive right now. Solar collectors have to be made and replaced. The efficiency sucks also for these things. The surface area they require to power something is huge. Plus, it doesn't work on rainy days.
