Swedish Massage - 2007/07/02 06:37Do anyone knows about the main features of a Swedish massage? I been in and out of massage centers but really, I don't know the difference of each one. Any help?

Re:Swedish Massage - 2007/07/19 22:30Swedish massage is generally lighter and smoother than deep muscle therapy. I don't generally use much of the Swedish style massage in my own practice, although I do use it for spreading oil or lotion and finding the "hot spots".

One of the practitioners in my wife's clinic is a Swedish massage therapist. At least the way she does it is almost as heavy as deep tissue massage.
