Calming a Toddler - 2007/10/16 13:16We meditate as a family on a regular basis. So far we haven't succeeded in having our toddler stay with us the whole time; normally she wanders off and pokes around the room, plays with the cushions or a toy she stashed somewhere.
But for the time she stays with us it really calms her down-and for a good while after too. It's a lovely way to help her chill out before bed.

Re:Calming a Toddler - 2007/10/27 13:37As long as she dose it some times I would not be too worried about it . Kids have to have that extra bit of energy in them , as she grows older she will learn .

Re:Calming a Toddler - 2007/10/28 04:35Honestly as long as she is safe I don't mind. As she grows up I am fully aware that she will slow down and begin to be more a part of our family meditation. In the meantime, just having her near is enough, and I enjoy the effects on her temper when she does stay with us.
