Are hybrid cars better than other? - 2007/07/30 09:45 I am interested to hear from owners hybrid cars about actually how much better and greener they are than other types of cars. What's the fuel economy and emmissions like on these as compared to a small engined diesel car?

Re:Are hybrid cars better than other? - 2007/10/14 02:52 I am not fortunate enough at this point to be the owner of a hybrid car, but one problem I see with them at this stage is the lack of very many places to purchase fuel for them. You can buy gasoline at practically every street corner, but you have to go far and wide to get an LP gas. If the Hybrid vehicle program is going to succeed, construction of fueling facilities has to be ramped up.

There are hybrids cars that run on both petrol and electric, check out the Toyota range. Even though things can be improved its a step in the right direction
