Experience in reiki - 2007/07/29 13:33 My friend has experience in reiki healing. He has a desease that doctor in hospital cannot cure. he just go for energy healing process of reiki and he is healthy now.

Reiki is a wonderful tool. It allows us to heal ourselves, and works wonderfully in conjunction with other "traditional" and "new-age" medicines and therapies.

I find it really helps me with depression and anxiety. After a car accident, I had a problem with my jaw--it was constantly locking and clicking; Reiki helped that quite a bit, most likely due to the much-needed relaxing of the muscles.

But it simply won't help my headaches! Probably because headaches are often a congestion of too much energy, and Reiki only adds energy, rather than remove it.

This could also mean your energy is blocked and not flowing free.

Often when this happens people focus on grounding which creates separation...and does not really help

You could try connecting... meaning... visualise a unbroken connection from spirit to mother earth or visa versa

Also checking and balancing your chakras will help

Re:Experience in reiki - 2007/09/07 19:43 There seems to be different schools of thought on the Reiki/headache issue. I find that some hematite/amethyst and lavender oil works better than Reiki, for me.

With energy congestion headaches, adding more energy is going to be uncomfortable. But Reiki realigns the energy and gets it flowing. So essentially, it does the same thing as pulling the energy out or removing it, just in a more natural way (by getting it to flow). I personally just don't like the initial discomfort, so don't follow through.

Although I'm sure if I did, it would get better.

If you are a reiki 2 and you know the power symbol then do it backwards. instead of focusing energy this releases energy. Thats how I get rid of my headaches.
