Yes we are not make this but we just accelerating the process and it will be creat problem for us. Now people understood it and doing great work agianst Global Warming.

My problem is a bit more prosaic. I am not sure whether humans are responsible for this, but what worries me is the cost of the measures that could do so much more good for things such as providing clean water.

Re:Reason for 'Global Warming' - 2007/09/28 02:10 The current temperature raise is debatable. The earth goes through warm and cool periods and it could just be that we are going through a warm period. However, the hole in the Ozone layer is our fault. The UV rays reaching earth are increasing, which is harmful to humans.

Re:Reason for 'Global Warming' - 2007/09/30 06:30 Yes, the Earth's temperature does fluctuate in a cyclical manner. However there can be no doubt that we are accelerating the natural process.

The providing of fresh water would not have been such a problem if it were not for our stripping away the natural fauna of the land and replacing it with grazing land for beef and other crops that are use uniquely to us.

Ultimately we brought all of this on ourselves.

Re:Reason for 'Global Warming' - 2008/07/14 21:42 We have moved into a "Solar minimum" after years of being in a solar max. Unfortunately I can't remember which of of these tends to raise the earth's surface temperature.

I Think a solar max lowers the earth's surface temperature, though.
