Some cars on the market actually have engines that can use ethanol. Check your manual to be sure that you are not already driving one of these. Ethanol is a resources that is renewable and will normally cost you less per gallon than you would pay for gasoline. Making improvements to your energy consumption as well as substituting renewable ways of generating it will take some investment of both time and money.
