Along with politics, you may have heard your mother refer to religion as an impolite conversation topic. People's views on the subject vary greatly, yet they are equally passionate about those views. Thus, discussion on this topic usually turns into anything but a discussion.

When we are so passionate, and we have so much to say, why do we have to bottle it up? Is there a venue for those of us who would like to express ourselves? Is there somewhere we can learn from others?

The web is becoming a great source for this kind of expression. Using an anonymous advice forum as the platform, here are a few key observations as to why-

Free advice sites draw people in who want to discuss. When you approach a stranger out on the streets and bring up religion, they often bristle. This stranger is not prepared to talk about such a personal topic. The key here, is finding people who want to talk, as opposed to forcing people.

No one knows who you are on an anonymous advice site. If nobody knows who you are, then you don't have to censor yourself. These sites allow the freedom to let a person really express how they feel, and really understand how other people are feeling.

Finally, free advice sites contain a lot of different topics that can turn into all sorts of new discussions. You may end up talking about something you'd never considered before, when you went to the site to post something entirely different.

Expanding the means by which you express your views, can only lead to expanding your own thoughts. Free advice sites are a terrific start. Maybe this user will see you on a forumn like the one we used below.
