I have always been some sort of hero, My work is lightning quick, firm and unyielding, likewise, so shall I die. There is no question of defeat and none what so ever of success. Shall I never retreat from a good fight, when it never crossed my mind before? In every endeavor there are failures and successes. However, something inside me tells me that to live as a coward is sure to bring about death and be reincarnated as a lowly insect such as a maggot. Cowardice offers no salvation, no although the eons may pass away with full atonement. Therefore, shall I be reborn as a lowly maggot?

The world is merely our earthly recreational area with lessons to be learned along the way, it shall ever remain so. Is there successful productivity In fretting for months on end concerning our questioning or our own loss or gain, disgrace or honor concerning this mortal live we live daily? I flourish in action. So many are ready and willing to offer their personal advice as to what to do about this thing or that. One man makes threats, while another wobbles from fear. In my opinion, this mortal live is no agreeable pleasant thing that would keep me wanting to remain and endure so much care, vigilance or apprehension. Life, family, friends and money as well as the love of men such as myself, if one wishes to enter into the work at hand fully assured before doing so concerning all of these, if a soul is ridden with terror and hesitation, then they shall find themselves as the vultures in having what they want. - Swami Vivekananda I want to share a special story with you today. There was a very steep, high and rocky mountain in a village in southern India. No one had ever reached to the top of the mountain. One day 100 people mustered sufficient courage to climb this huge mountain. They had no clue of how much time it would take to get to the summit. However each of them was determined to succeed. In the beginning they helped each other but as days passed by a handful of them who were more talented at mountain climbing went quite a distance ahead while leaving the others behind. The man who was ahead of everyone was very happy and pleased that he had beaten everyone. He was surging ahead with a rapid pace, determined to reach to the top of the mountain before anyone else. The other people in the group were also equally resolved to succeed. They looked upon this man, knowing his reputation, for inspiration and motivation. They talked at length about him his character, his confidence and personality, and admired him. They continued to climb as each seemed to be covering sufficient ground while daily making progress. The journey continued at days turned into months and months turned into years. The man in the lead eventually could see the summit from a distance. However, it seemed to him the more ground he was able to cover the more ground there was to be covered. When taking in the view of the height he had already covered, he was filled with pride and satisfaction to have conquered such a great distance. All the while, the distance between this man and the others also seemed to widen, depending of course on the progress of each soul. A small child who lived in the village was watching all those upon the mountain, since his father was part of the group. Ten years past and the child's father had not returned to his home. The child so desperately wished to see his father once more. However, he did not know what to do. The whereabouts of the child's father was a mystery to his mother, she had no idea how to find him. Before giving up, the child began questioning the elders of the village, seeking their advice. However, there was no one there who could be of assistance. Eventually the boy came across a wise old man. This man told the child that there was a wide river that flowed behind the steep mountain and that there was a charming island at the far end of the river. The old man told the child that perhaps his father was at the lovely island and that he could show him the way to reach the island within a week's time and that he would have to pass through a thick dark forest. The little child was thrilled. . He was bold and determined to meet his father and readily agreed to cross the dense forest. The wise old man then took a piece of paper and wrote two words on it. "On the third day of your travel in the forest you will meet a person. Hand this paper to him and he will take you to the beautiful island where you can meet your father." The child became very excited. After receiving a blessing from the wise old man, the boy took the note and began his journey towards the forest. On the third day of he met a stranger in the forest. The boy immediately gave the not to the stranger. As soon as the stranger read the note, he captured the boy, slapped him several times and then tied him to a tree. The boy began to cry, he was hungry and was confused about the whole ordeal. He thought this person would be of help in meeting his father, but instead the man had beat and bound him. The boy cried bitter tears. The stranger was the leader of a tribal community, he informed the boy that noon tomorrow that he would be killed and offered up as a sacrifice to the God of the Forest. The stranger paid the boy no mind as he pleaded for mercy and release. The boy wondered why the wise man would be so cruel as to lie to him,, and wondered why he would do him this way. He wept and then soon fell fast asleep. A vision came to him as God appeared before him. The boy told God of the happenings in his life, with tears rolling down his face. He then asked God for help. As God knelt down and took the boy in his arms, he whispered two words into his ears and told him to repeat these words to the strange the next morning and that he would be released and go to meet his father. With this he kissed the boy and bid him farewell. Early next morning the tribal head arrived. The little child smiled. He uttered the two words and then ?
